It was a quick dash outside during a shower of rain to pick this camellia bloom for a blip photo.

A winter blast is travelling northward and as it lingered over our area it has deposited snow well below the bush line on Brown Acre. Threatening clouds, rain and a cold wind have been the order of the day. Quite a change to yesterday’s wall to wall blue sky and sunshine.




Thank you for your visits, stars and special heart for yesterday’s nautical scene. I didn’t test the water temperature, but I’m sure it was far too cold for a winter swim!
