Bitter Wind

Obviously it should have been this morning that I went up to the mountains instead of yesterday. A bit of blue sky allowed the snowy peaks to stand out against the sky. The fuzziness on the mountain is spindrift, the gusty nor’wester kicking up the snow. We were in line for the very chilly wind straight off the mountains. Although there was a lot of sunshine it seemed to me to be the coldest day this winter.
