Abstract Thursday 2014 Anything goes

Today's challenge, being the first day of a new month, has no specific theme.  Easy in some ways but not others!  I went to the internet looking for inspiration and came up with two ideas.
My main shot is a small section of a lily ( part of a beautiful bunch from daughter #2 for Monday's wedding anniversary).  The idea is to choose just a tiny section of the whole, viewed so that it looks abstract.
My extra is a triptych of versions of a shot of food colouring dripped into a vase of water: I think I can see a face in there!
