Bug

Bright orange with very distinctive markings on the shocking pink of Salvia 'Cerro Potosi.'  It caught my eye as I wandered round the garden in a sunny interval between the showers this morning.

This afternoon I had a restful couple of hours reading my book in a quiet place before the slightly surreal experience of an operation to remove a small carcinoma from my nose under local anaesthetic.  The pain relief was excellent as were the staff but it was a weird feeling lying there as they cut and stitched a skin graft into place.  Now my nose is nearly as brightly coloured as the bug but not as pretty!

Think the bug is Corizus hyoscyami
