Westerbork

Glorious sunshine greetede us this morning. We decided to make a long bike ride where we stopped off at camp Westerbork.
During the nazi occupation of The Netherlands most of the Dutch Jews were rounded up and via camp Westerbork were transported to the nazi death camps...

This is the monument to the 102 000 people the came through Westerbork. Most of them never came back...
