Bonxie and Gannet Face-off

The bonxies (or great skuas) are kleptoparasitic- they force other seabirds, especially gannets, to give up their hard-fished for food (or they just kill stuff like auks and ducks). It looks like this gannet isn't too co-operative and that dagger of a bill could inflict a lot of damage, so the bonxie is backing off. A rather more pacific kittiwake on Moaness pier is the extra.
