It has been a beautiful day!

We were 3 down today; one on holiday, one in respite and a 3rd gone into full time care at a moment's notice.

When we went to see M-in-L at her care home yesterday, I recognised a new resident as one of "my" gents from about 18 months ago. He looked quite shocking. His wife is very glam and she did a good job of turning him out nicely every week but his dementia has now taken him over. So sad. 

In other news, a body was found in Lock 29 at the Caen Hill flight yesterday morning. No more news than that at the moment. Perhaps a local or maybe a holiday maker. Time will tell.

The pigeons are always at it.
