Cheat blip!! Yesterday’s photo.
Another busy day!
I hung out two lines of washing as it was fairy warm and dry this morning with showers predicted this afternoon.
Brought most of it in by lunchtime and ironed the bedding.
Lovely bacon sandwich for lunch before going over to Pacific Nurseries as usual to meet my friend. Her speech was not good today but I’d taken the laptop to show her the videos of our hedgehog’s visits. Another hedgehog had muscled his way in last night so there was a lot of sparring before the loser went away!
She loved them.
Back home again for tea when I managed to rescue what was left on the washing line just before a torrential downpour. Afterwards I popped out up the road to see a couple of friends whose 16 years old cat died last Saturday.
Any beloved pet leaves a huge hole when they pass on. I took a bit of something for them with a card.
Things in some places further North have been horrendous due to the recent storms and heavy continuous rain.
A dam in Derbyshire is now at risk of collapsing so the villagers have been evacuated at Whaley Bridge.
One farmer had had 80 sheep swept away and his silage bales.
And meantime our PM is acting like a Court Jester with a velvet purse throwing gold coins at everything from Police to NHS to buying sheep from farmers if it’s a no-deal, to sell them on!! And so on and so on and so on........doing a merry dance all round the Union!
Yet not fooling anyone with any sense. Those without any, dance to his merry tune!!!! Aghhhh! ( Sorry! Don’t know what came over me just then!)
