Picnic Spot

Our last day on Zakynthos was full of activity. Another early morning swim for me before breakfast, then down to our favourite beach spot at Mandraki. Mr M and I really loved swimming around the coral beds looking at all the fish under the water. The water was so clear.
We then had a fantastic last lunch at the waterside taverna before going back to the house and packing up a picnic. Our hosts then took us on a walk to a ruined monastery with amazing views over the coast.
The evening was spent at one of the villas which they do change-overs for. We went there to watch the sunset - it would have been hard to pick a better spot and with music playing from the villa, the atmosphere was beautiful.
A wonderful way to end a fabulous holiday.
We have been invited to return any time, so we obviously didn’t disgrace ourselves too much as house guests :)
