Along the coast

The weather is completely different today, 10C, very warm for the time of year, but windy and damp. We went down to Ayr and had a walk along the promenade towards the wee castle, and back again. Although it was a bit damp and misty at times, it was nice to be out in the wind and getting some much needed fresh air and exercise. The downside of all the festivities at Christmas and New Year is that we tend to sit around much more than we normally do, so it was nice to get almost back to normal.

There was little light to speak of, and we couldn't see Arran at all, but I liked the shot of one man and his dog on the beach!
