Nomad

Ready for the off! Bags packed, house tidied and taxi ordered. In 14 hours I will be tucked up in bed in Kirkwall...... well that’s the plan anyway.

It will be the first time I have ever holidayed by myself- so no shared experiences, or dialogue with a bedfellow, but I am armed with knitting and drawing stuff. There is a wonderful library in Stromness and at least one excellent café, so my basic needs are catered for.

Besides which I have the indomitable Poppy, and the mercurial Iain at Creel to keep me entertained, not forgetting young Northern.
