Church spires

Took a short cut through the church yard and thought I might take a photo of some of the interesting memorials. When all of a sudden a lady appeared through the rain and gloom. She was very interested in what I was doing and I explained. I think that she felt a bit sorry for me as I was soaking wet and looking rather pathetic. So I left the gravestones and looked upwards to the church spires and took a photo of them instead. They are beautifully carved and so ornate yet how many people notice them or are able to see them in detail.
