Foilhammerum

One of my all time favourite views! This is the place where the transatlantic cable was first laid. In the distance are the Skelligs - site of an early Christian monastic settlement (and now, unfortunately, far too popular and busy due to Star Wars fame). This is a view of my childhood and one of my many happy places.
We also visited (see extra) Pol Gorm - a giant rock pool and bathing area on the cliffs. What another brilliant day of many relatives and sunshine. The night was rounded off with a BBQ for some 50+ relatives which some of us cousins hosted. Now to bed. I do love family holidays!
