Flag of excellence

Albir, Alfaz del Pi has been awarded another “environmental” flag of excellence.......
For many years we have had a Blue Flag for the quality and cleanliness of the beach and the sea water off shore ......

This weekend ..... there was a presentation to the Mayor.....of an additional, New Flag ....
rewarding the work and investment that has been made to produce
the Trail to the Lighthouse.

The route is through the Sierra Helada Natural Park .... protecting and developing the flora and fauna of the park.
The walk is about 2.5 km..... traffic free, with look out posts, giving information about the Nature in Spanish, Valenciano and English

It was cloudy this morning when I took the photo .....
