Pretty Fabulous

I spent most of the day in the kitchen at Connect Church Camp. It was great to work with a pretty fabulous friend and chief cook who has oodles of experience catering for the masses on camps.

I have to say that I kind of loved it. Obviously it’s better when you’re not in charge and somebody else is telling you what to do.

I made the chilli (which had seriously more ingredients in it than I normally put in) and the 4 tray bakes of chocolate pudding, all under background instruction but I do wish my friend had brought the giant rice cookers that the church owns.

As for the flowers, they were in a flower bed in the park where I was walking the dogs. It’s not easy doing chickens, dogs and cat and house stuff like washing out & emptying the dishwasher on my own before work each day. Before we had Mabel, we didn’t need to walk dogs at the beginning of the day.
