Oxford Botanics

Our road trip took us to Oxford next, where the three of us explored the Bodleian Library, covered market and the Botanic Gardens. The gardens had several plants I don't remember ever seeing before, and I would have loved more time to explore in greater depth and take more photos. Baby only has so much patience!

I'm rather impressed with the water lilies we have growing in our very own pond - not that I can take any credit, they were in our pond when we moved in and I leave them to their own devices - but still they have nothing on this impressive species.
