Window boxes

Day off today to help J’s dad make some window boxes for us. Don’t trust the painter to be able to do them and certainly not in the 2 days he said he could and get them painted. Spent the day trying to cut stuff, make tea and drive the car to get stuff. DG has done a great job and Kilda is starting to get used to them. Took her for a walk first thing and she came straight back and went in her paddling pool to cool off. J and her mum took her to a packed Portie beach for some swimming while we went to B&Q for some last bits. She did very well, with no barking or chasing people. Early night as I’m on the train tomorrow so J can have the car to take her parents out.
