Popa Chubby

Early start to make some beer and get the two lots bottled for Champs. Took a bit longer as it’s the first time using the new 5l keg and corny keg I got on Friday. J took her niece up town to get some clothes for her work experience and had lunch out at a vegan restaurant with K. Started to watch the GP while I was doing the beer and had to wait for J to catch up while I made the bookcase which as approved yesterday. Only managed to get it part completed before I had to go out and meet IB. Met at Teuchters to watch the end of the cricket before going to a gig. Fantastic game even if we weren’t sure what was happening for a while when it was a tie after the main innings. Great super over to win the world cup. It finished just in time for us to head over to the assembly rooms to see Poppa Chubby. The warm up band weren’t great but he was worth the wait. Could have done without the blues version of ‘Over the Rainbow’ and he did finish on Halleluiah which wasn’t the best song he could have chosen but worth the late night. Hamilton won the GP and I had him for the fantasy league at work on a joker so a great day.
