Lady in Lavender!

A trip to North Berwick today to visit a college friend.

Eileen and her husband have a flat in what was once a very grand house overlooking the golf course ..... wonderful views from every window.

The lavender beds in front of the house were a real magnet for Painted Lady butterflies.

After a rather dull start to the day the weather improved in afternoon and we enjoyed an ice cream in the sun before heading back to Glasgow.
