A NEW HYDRANGER

Took this photo last evening after a huge deluge of rainwater.  I didn't complain as we had had no rain for over four weeks.

Unfortunately most of the new buds got wrecked with the power of the rain but this Lacecap flower survived.  I found it in Lidl last week and at only £5.99 couldn't resist.  I had a large pot spare so it is now gracing our front door area.

Today it is back to a normal English weather pattern.  Light breeze and 22 deg.

Collecting Matthew tomorrow so lots to do before he arrives.
