New Forest Ponies

We enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the hotel, then said our farewells to people. Before leaving, however, we went for a walk around the grounds, taking some more photos. Then we went for a drive, enjoying the beautiful scenery and once again beautiful weather, stopping a few times to take pictures of the New Forest Ponies. We stopped in Burley and had a little walk around - more ponies grazing quite happily right at the side of the car park, including a little black foal, then continued on our way. I should have liked a wander around Lyndhurst, but the traffic was dreadful, and we figured we’d never find anywhere to park, so we forgot that idea, and just set back on our journey home. In the evening, we all went out for dinner to celebrate John’s birthday, which was yesterday.
