One of my favourite ever albums celebrated it's 50th anniversary today. I knew it came out in 1969 but I didn't know the *exact* date until I saw it highlighted somewhere earlier.

I was born in June of that year so, not only did I witness the moon landings (apparently I was awake when it all happened, but obviously have no recollection of it) but I was also in this world when Miles Davis released 'In A Silent Way'. Obviously I didn't hear it 'til many years later (in my twenties in fact) but that's not the point...
