Hibernation

I woke up to a howling gale and rain lashing down. At first I couldn’t remember what day it was and thought I might have slept until autumn.
Undeterred, Charlie and some friends went surfing this afternoon. I took this photo as I picked him up. I can see exactly why the surf school shut up shop for the day!!
