The absolute upside of huge winds all day was that very few people decided to go swimming. More fool them, it was brilliant.

I also had to chase the wheelie bins down the road.

I bought Daisy a giant new rucksack for adventures. And plumped for random pair of new glasses with no opinion sought from anyone. This was after the Specsavers lady visibly struggled for words when I asked her thoughts on a different pair.
