A day of two halves

The Bus Pass Walkers took a short bus ride to the next village this morning, and walked through fields and Cottingley Woods to the Ferrands Folly. Refreshments taken at the garden centre. This afternoon 3 of us ventured into Calderdale to help a friend celebrate her birthday. Just settled down with coffee and cake when the rain started, so we dashed into a marquee. Full blown storm ensued so I was not a happy bunny being in a structure full of metal poles whilst it was lightning! Normality soon returned.
