Kitface's suprise leaving do

My lovely friend Kit heads off to South East Asia to do 3 months missionary work in December. As such, we wanted to see her before she went so we had a day trip to Glasgow. Arriving in Glasgow I got a call from my sister, not unusual but she was needing to know where to turn the shop lights on. They're up visiting mum and dad but mum had been called away to see Granny who was ill, leaving her to open the shop.

Kit knew she was seeing me but the rest was a bit of a surprise. I'd told her I was the only person available and then turned up at Starbucks with our old flatmate J. With one nice surprise we had coffee and then went for a wander to do some Christmas shopping. I used the excuse of my sister needing to contact me to send sneaky texts and calls to arrange the rest of the surprise. By close to 1pm we were getting hungry and the surprises had arrived so we were finally able to go for lunch. When we got to Wagamamas she found our friends A, B, N & J were all there already. It did take her a moment, she didn't see them all hiding behind their menus and wondered why I wasn't waiting to be seated.

After lunch we went for a couple of drinks and then met some of her friends from the centre she's staying at before heading home. I liked a different photo of her but I know she didn't so I've opted for this one in low light instead.
