Fringe frustration no. 1

The fringe is invading once more for the month of August and already it is inconveniencing me.

They've diverted the nearby bus. I only occasionally use this, on rainy days or as a faster way to transit 'the mile', but someone has taken it upon themselves to close sections of 'the mile' this year.
Now I am forced to walk. Battling my way up to South Bridge. Swearing under my breath as they do touristy things like stop mid flow in the street to take pictures of non descript buildings. Who knew the Aparthotel was something worth taking a lasting memory of. Harrumph.

I'm sure once it starts my opinion will mellow but how frustrating.
