Luna Park

This clown is the stuff my nightmares are made of! He looks over the entrance of Luna Park in St Kilda, a suburb of Melbourne, which is an amusement park that opened in 1912 and has been operating almost continuosly ever since. There's still a rickety old roller coaster that goes around the outside of the park every few minutes and games and things inside. I've only really looked in the entrance to see what it was all about but maybe one of these days I'll go on a ride!

I got off of work early today and it was a beautiful day so I headed to St Kilda for a coffee and then into the city for a movie. We saw The Hobbit, which is definitely a movie to see in the cinema, and it was great. Cheap movie night even! On a side note, can you believe that "cheap" movie night is $11.50 here?!?!? It's normally somewhere around $22! INSANE
