Riverside meadows....

were full of butterflies on a hot, sunny morning. There were many Painted Ladies (extra), ScotchArgus, Red Admirals, Ringlets, Speckled Woods and caught glimpse of a Fritillary.
The river is very low, no use to the fisherman who was stumbling over the rocks.
