A view from Jeanneb

Agapanthus forest.

Just back from an ATN sing at Eldwick church.
We joined their monthly Golden-Oldies session where they sing songs and then play Bingo.
Whilst they had tea we sang 7 songs from our summer repertoire. They seemed to be appreciated.
Afterwards we were given tea and cake.

As we were singing we could see an horrendous downpour outside, thankfully it was over as the minibus arrived to pick the ‘Oldies’  up and we left.

There was a bit of sun now and then this morning and I took this shot to show the deep blue Agapanthus now coming out against the (now) three blooms of the new mainly white Twister.  Thought they looked nice against the mackerel sky. The pleasant spell was ended by a lunchtime thunderstorm.
Looks like this is how the weather will be for the rest of the day and maybe tomorrow. Still pretty warm though.
