Lift me up before you go go.

It was odd to wake up to a day with grey skies and heavy rain, and already I have had enough. I didn't seem to have any motivation, and couldn't decide what to do, well that's isn't really true, more like I wasn't in the mood for housework. I eventually decided (it took me until 1 o' clock to decide) to go to town on the bus. I didn't see anything worth blipping, so as a last resort. walked over to the shop by the bridge that's sells vintage clothes. I was taking this photo when the owner came out, and I complemented her on her wonderful window displays. She said you can take a photo as long as it's not of me. She is a lovely lady, and I've just noticed you can see her & me in the reflection. I got on the bus home, and a lady I used to work with got on and sat beside me. After the usual pleasantries she told me that her daughter, aged 49, had died a month ago. To say that I was shocked is an understatement, as you can imagine, although I think she wanted to talk about her.  We got off the bus at the same stop, and I gave her a hug & a kiss before we parted ways. News like that certainly makes you stop  & count your blessings.
