Sukuh Cottages

This is where we stayed for two nights on the steep slopes of Mount Lawu, an extinct volcano about an hour south of Solo (by car). An idyllic spot, with lovely breezes, a relief after the stickiness of the city. Our rooms were on that top balcony.

No escape from motorbikes up on the mountain though!
