El Sueno

Today we went to El Sueno, a pretty restaurant with a private terrace and sun beds and an amazing set of steps down to the water. We swam in the crystal clear turquoise water, sunbathed and read. The view from the restaurant terrace for lunch was amazing.
In the afternoon there was more water volley ball and we broke the record for keepy uppies, which now stands at 173. We felt quite proud of ourselves but are still going to try for more to tomorrow, because the previous record holders are coming out here straight after us. John has already informed them that we’ve broken their record and their response was ‘bring it on!’
We had another fabulous bbq in the evening and then went to the open mic night at the Peligoni club - a very posh, expensive club where Jo and John work, looking after some of the villas. The prices that people pay to rent these villas is mind-boggling. Master M did his thing accompanying Pat for her two songs and then filled the dance floor when he played by himself (guitar and drum pedal at the same time), playing Take Me Home Country Road (a club favourite apparently) and Brown Eyed Girl. They loved him - not sure they’d seen anything quite like him before - his antidote to all the poshness was to wear a silly hat and put on his strongest welsh accent! A very funny evening.
