RAINDROPS ON ROSES
Got most of the housework done yesterday, except for a few little tweaks that will need to be done before our friend arrives on Thursday - always good to have visitors, it exercises one’s mind and gets jobs done that otherwise may not have been done!
I was up and out by 7 a.m. this morning to do the shopping, which was quite a pleasure as there weren’t many people around. I even managed to give our two little hearts, one to the lady who served me and one to the lady behind me in the queue - both were delighted, so good to make someone’s day!
When I got back it was still raining, so I just took a couple of shots of our Queen of Sweden rose in the front garden, complete with raindrops, hence the title.
Lots to do today and a friend coming for coffee later, then haircuts, then going to see another friend, complete with microphone, so this is a quick Blip today.
Have a great day and hope your gardens are as thankful as ours for the rain!
“Many a man curses the rain
that falls upon his head,
and knows not that it brings
abundance to drive away the hunger.”
