Winter Fungi

A big outside day, gardening and cutting the edges.  We are off to Townsville next week, and I like to get on top of the garden before we go.  We still have the roses to prune.

A few weeks ago we had delivered a large truck load of farm compost (in other words poo) for the gardens.....with the recent rain, and the warmth generated within the pile, today it has exploded with thousands of teeny weeny fungi.... I was in fungi heaven :)
