Just do it!

The success of the day… Oskar gets hold of an idea and it has to be.  We looked at some Youtube’s of shoe painters,  (which are so impressive!)  , decided we didn’t have quite the right paint, but went for it anyway.   After hand wringing, he put 3 coats of acrylic on the brand new  Nike air force 1 07--  the Swedish flag.    Quite pleased with the result.    Tomorrow the other shoe will have an American flag. ( and we will have chocolate chip cookies, I’m told. )

NIk and Marin went out in kayaks with the go pro so we can see what’s lurking in the eel grass.  Zoey made another great plein aire painting on the beach .  The 4 of them took the tin boat to the  marina for ice cream cones.  (and tonic and parmesan for us)   extra -  on the way back. (Nik actually has his US boating license,.)  _then some brief swimming.     I’m happy-  had a lovely row and even a wee nap.  Nice day at the island.
