on the canal

we took my mum down to Heybridge Basin today for lunch and then had a trip on the canal. For about 20 years my parents had a log cabin a few metres from his spot until sadly the site was sold for housing and the cabins shipped to Scandinavia somewhere . We spent many summers here so it brought back a lot of memories especially spotting the young lady on the bridge where I stood many a time at about her age.
