Men at sea

Packed up and set off north. Lovely blue skies and sunny day....probably the last one this week!
Stopped off at Crosby beach to see the Gormleys and had a lovely walk along the beach and combing the stones and old bricks on the shoreline for interestingly weathered ones, before hitting the road again and arriving at our hotel in the Lake District - beautiful views over the coast and in stunning gardens. Staying at Grange over Sands-such an olde worlde little town with a lovely flower filled promenade (although the tide a long way out!)
Beautiful evening and we walked into town and found a little cafe serving delicious home made Philippine food...a first for us both.
Back to the hotel to watch nonsense and relax
