Roof tiles, anyone?

I was returning from Cheltenham on the bus, following a day's work on a summer playscheme, and a meeting with Dave at a well known carvery.
For once I was sensible enough not to choose the full carvery deal!

Still, I was quite tired after eating (I slept badly last night) and almost fell asleep on the bus, but at Painswick I noticed I could see the church roof and spire from an odd angle, but just the bus started to move off...

We've had a couple of heavy showers this evening, but otherwise the weather remains stinkingly hot. Tomorrow we will have cooler weather and real rain, apparently.
