Brace Yourself

This was my view for about half an hour this afternoon while Alfie had his braces fiddled with. They reckon he might get them off by Christmas.
The children talked me into taking them to McDonald’s after. I resisted ordering anything for myself except for a ‘strawberry Lemonade’ which I presumed would be mostly ice but was in fact mostly sugar.
A lovely sunny day and I managed to get out in the garden with my kindle for a while.
