Guard Duty

We went to summer house today, but just for the day. We still need to look after Grandma since it’s very hot and she needs to get out of the apartment at some point during the day.

It was a glorious day. Mum enjoyed some time in the hammock that is hanging from the old apple tree. I wish I could Blip a picture of her in it, but I don’t have opposable thumbs. Me and Hedgehog were on the yellow duvet or on the grass right next to mum, on guard duty. An extraordinary number of canoeists went past on our little road, including two dogs. Lucky I was there.

We went home late and mum realised we didn’t have any food in the house for dinner. So we stopped for - burgers and fries! Yay! Great day.
