Concert dedicated to the Great Mikis Theodorakis

In Galatas, a neighbouring village to Chania, the family house of the Theodorakis family stands and there tonight a warm and special concert was given in the yard of the Theordorakis house, to celebrate Mikis Theodorakis' music and his anniversary, tomorrow on July 29th.

 Mikis Theodorakis was born on the island of Chios in 1925, but his father was a Cretan from Galatas and there he's raised. The president of the Theodorakis museum (the family house is now a museum, open on demand) showed me some pix of Mikis and this one I got quite OK from the handy ~ that president is named: Yorgos Agorastakis.
Mikis at the age of 29 yrs up front left, embraced by his mother and embracing his father Yorgos Theodorakis. the young man in the back right is his brother Yannis, who wrote lots of texts that were made lyrics by Mikis. The man and women behind his parents and in front of his brother are an uncle and aunt to Miki and Yanni.
