It's 2013 and it's pink

So glad I was able to capture the pink on the horizon tonight. John and I took a walk down to the water --onto the snowy beach in front of the cottage where my mom is living for a while. She was inside playing a marathon game of monopoly with Carter and Brooke. And teaching Brookie to knit.

I caught a glimpse of the sky from our dining room window and scurried out the door in the hopes it would wait for me. The sun sets quickly around here on January 1.
