Painted Lady Day
Today the promised invasion of painted lady butterflies materialised in EH4. The combination of warm sunshine and lots of buddleia flowers was a great attraction. It was hard to capture but there were at times clouds of butterflies around the bushes, simply beautiful. It was also remarkable just how quickly they all disappeared when the sun went behind clouds and the temperature dropped.
Sunday today so, church this morning then a visit to the rectory this afternoon to meet with an odd job man to discuss various small tasks which need to be done. We also paid a visit to Ali and Stuart's house which is coming on well.
None of us felt like cooking, but we thoroughly enjoyed the carry out we had from the Loon Fung at Canonmills. I don't think they've ever let us down.
We all had a quiet night in and watched Forrest Gump which I've never actually seen before.
Back to the vets tomorrow.
17434 steps today so 4 days out of 4.
