More Cullen Skink
After our walk out yesterday, we had two big bowlfulls at the Old Schoolhouse in Scourie,, camped at the site there instead of the cliff tops (so I could get a laundry fix and de smoke our midge free clothes)
Monday was a grey day, so we drove South and left the Handa puffins til next time. I thought they would probably be hiding anyway. Inverness (Beauly actually for old times sake) and Fort Augustus to amuse Littje Agu in the torrential rain, more of Fry’s addictive Mythos to amuse us on the way.
The West coast called and Oban was the easiest reach right from my heartstrings. We called in at the Pierhouse at Port Appin first, a table was free... , but no, we needed a pitch for the night first and I had bought two tins of emergency Baxter’s Skink to tide us over. The view of Kennera as a backdrop wasn’t bad either.
