Photoshoot "Re-Evolution": Take 2

If you saw my blip from 3 weeks ago, you'll know about Joan, from our Camera Club, working on fashion shoots, and that this year she's concentrating on the scourge of plastic in our oceans. The model's clothing & headdress were made entirely from plastic waste.

Well, in spite of all our efforts Joan didn't manage to get all the poses and shots that she wanted last time, so we all trooped back to the coast today for "Take 2". Somehow we managed to spend over 7 hours there this time (hence the late posting of this blip), but at least she thinks she's got all that she wants this time!

In the collage, the largest photo is taken from where I was positioned for that particular pose: I was in charge of the smoke machine this time, so this shot was taken while I was waving the smoke machine round with one hand and holding my camera with the other (hence the loppy horizon!)

The small photo at the top shows the studio light balanced on the rocks, ready for the model to come and stand there. The next one down shows the poor model having the headdress applied, held in place partly by being tied to her hair (ouch! - bet you can't believe that she's smiling!). The other 2 shots show Joan taking a shot and then checking it on her laptop.

The weather wasn't quite so sunny this time but at least the rain held off until we were finished.

All in all a fun and productive afternoon with lots of laughs.
