Get Me To The Church On Time

Liz and Mat get married. The congregation were instructed to go in to town to get on the special bus which would take us all to the church. A fun ride on an old Routemaster. Except that the bus took us all to the wrong church. Not the driver's fault - he had been given the wrong postcode. Aaaargh. 

So it was off to the right church, except there was a weight restriction. So we all disembarked and walked the last half mile to the church. 

I've never been to a wedding before when the bride gets to the church before the congregation. And it was a great day. Happiness across the sea - the groom is from the USA. He's a super guy and we all had the chance to meet his family. Their luggage had been lost from the plane and it arrived half way through the reception. 

A memorable day.
