Walking forest machine

Our camera club made our annual summer trek to Forest Museum Lusto at Punkaharju. One of the most interesting things there was a prototype of this walking forest machine Plusjack was made by Finnish (originally Canadian)Timberjack/Plustech companies, which is currently owned by John Deere company. They have manufactured only two fully functional prototypes of this walking machine already on 1999. The other unit is in this Lusto museum and the other somewhere in Canada. I found a short promotional video from Youtube showing it in real action.

I didn't know nor found yet a reason why they didn't took those to  production, but I suppose the final price would have been too high for proper business.
