My little freckled friend

Weeding and dead heading around the pelargoniums today, I was momentarily joined by this beautiful little creature. If anyone can tell me what its official name is I'd be glad to know. Until then I will just think of him as my little freckled friend. Grey drizzly weather today, I hope he stays dry.
