Old pub

The Wolsington House is a 20th Century pub.

It's a listed building and has very impressive Dutch gables.It stands in the regeneration area close to what was Smith's docks.

I bet in its hey day it saw plenty thirsty hard-working Dockers calling in for a pint.
When I was young I remember seeing the men coming out of the shipyards in their droves to catch the bus or ferry home.
All that is gone now ;(
